1.  As a PR you cannot sponsor while overseas, you must return to Canada, and then submit the Sponsorship and the complete application to Mississauga.  All the forms are at www.cic.gc.ca  Processing time is about 45 days at Mississauga and 2-6 months at Delhi if no interview is required.

Hi

I just posted inofrmation session regarding Sponsorship. University Settlement Recreation Centre will invite Legal aid consultant from Ontario Legal Aid Branch to give information. It is a good opportunity for you to know detail process to sponsor your family member to Canada. If you are interested in information session (free workshop), you can contact settlement worker, University Settlement  @  416-218-8990. our website: www.usrc.ca

Good Luck

Hi Krisashok,

Further to PMM's post, the best way to sponor wife is through "Family class". Of late, applications processed through New Delhi come through appr 4 months. Its taken us 4 and half months, which is not bad at all. Just make sure that you have all the documents (like police clearence, medicals, pictures of your wedding, email copies-if you have any, telephone bills etc)
