Sponsoring spouse from Turkey

Just wondering if anyone here has sponsored a spouse of knows of timelines for sponsoring a spouse from Turkey. I would really appreciate any information since I have not seen my husband in 8 and a half months.  We sent the application over 4 months ago and the timeline is supposed to be 3 to 6 months but I was hoping it would take the lesser half of that  timeline.

You are right that the timeline for Turkey is 3-6 months, see http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/international/05-fc-spouses.asp#europe but you don't figure in the timeline for sponsorship.  Before the file goes to Turkey, the sponsorship approval takes 39 days, http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/canada/process-in.asp#sponsorship

Hi there Im also in the process of sponsoring from Turkey application has not  been sent yet... will be done within next 2 weeks as im gathering all information necessary for immigration... i have not seen too many from Turkey...Hope all goes well for you Crissy12
