Parents are in the 60s they had over 7 passports.

They are asked to write which countries they visited and the dates.

2 issues
- the old passports are hard to read, ink faded, stamps placed one over the other, unreadable. Doc from 1950s dont make sense.
- as they were in the merchant navy they traveled to many places stayed for a day, most of the time the passport was not stamped as they retrned to the ship every day.

Is there a cut off date that they can use to report their foreign travel.  What did you/your parents do? any guidance is requested.

Am also thinking what if they did not keep their old passports how would they report all this info.

You write the fact. The number of current (valid) passport and mention howmany cancelled passports they have. Regarding the travles, make a statement that they cannot recall it due to numerous travels in the merchant navy. Hope it will work.
