sponsoring parents after sponsoring depandent child

I am a Canadian PR and will need to sponsor my child who was born outside Canada. As far as I understand financial evaluation is not required to sponsor a dependent child. MY question is can I still sponsor my parents after one year of becoming PR (assuming i can prove the financial requirements) or i won't be able sponsor parents for certian period becuase I already sponsored my dependent child?

there is no time period but the addition to your family means higher LICO needs to be met

I have one more question. While my daughter's application is pending, can she and I travel for few weeks out of Canada to see relatives? My daughter is U.S. citizen so she won't need visa to reenter Canada.  I see different replies on it, some says sponsor must be in Canada all time while sponsorship application is pending (while is little over 1 yr through Buffalo) and others say couple week of vacation is not a problem.

yes vacays are permitted however a prolong visit more than a month if you are a PR while applying may send red flags but for sure go and enjoy your time
