Hi,
I am a permanent resident of Canada for last 2 and half year. I also finished my studies here. I am single and  don't have any relatives or family member living in Canada and have enough income to sponsor 4 person. I was wondering if I can sponsor my Nephew. He is 11/12 years old.
I got different information from different people. Also the information on cic website is confusing. Could anyone can give me correct information whether I can sponsor him or not?
Thanks.

1. Only If he is an orphan under 18.
2.  If your parents/grandparents are alive, then No.  If they are deceased, and you if have you no spouse/children/parents/grandparents anywhere, or Brothers/Sisters/Aunts/Uncles/Nieces/Nephews in Canada, then you can sponsor.

What PMM said + If his parents give you guardianship of him, you can apply for a TRV for him and study permit for minor and let him stay with you for a year or two but he would not be covered by health care so you would have to be prepared to get insurance for him or pay out of pocket if he has medical expenses.
