We are awaiting word from Ghana that allows my husband to immigrate to Canada.  The letter stated it takes up to 18 months.  My husband applied for a visitor visa and was denied.  I am going to Nigeria for a month in November.  At this time I would like for him to come to Canada for three months while he waits to hear from Ghana.  Does anyone know of any way for him to be successful in his application for visitor status?  Thanks all.

1.  With a sponsorship in progress the chances of getting a TRV are close to nil. If he applies he would have to prove stronger ties to Ghana than his ties to Canada with a spouse there and an application in progress.
