Sponsoring my daughter

hello,
I am new to this forum, but my story is that I started my skilled worker application in 2004, and I sent in all my document and medicals by may of 2005.My daughter was born in march a year later, but because I did not want to derail my visa application because I needed to get out of the states sooner, I did not inform the buffalo office.I already landed in september 2007, and so could someone give me any info how to go about sponsoring her, and how long it would take.Would immigration Canada look at me differently ?
I would really appreciate any help to pursue this.

I hate to be the one to tell you this but the fact that you didn't inform CIC of this change in your family status will have serious consequences for you if/when they find out.

It is doubtful you'll ever be able to sponsor your daughter.  And once they learn you intentionally omitted her from your application, they could revoke your PR status as well.

Ebangha, if what you wrote here is correct, I'm sorry you are in for a big fight. If you did not want you daughter to slow the processing, the least you could have done was to include her immediate she was born. this does not mean that she will accompany you to Canada.

All I will say is to wish you the very best of luck. But I'm afraid thaiguy is correct.

No, your daughter is no longer a member of the family class and cannot be sponsored.  YOu can try a Humanitarian and Compassionate application.  Also you obtained your landing by misrepresentation by not reporting the child, so there is a good chance your Pr status is in jeopardy

After all this gloom and doom response in this forum, my daughter is a US citizen, as well as her mom, so I am happy I can still see her often, till I moved back to the states.Thanks anyway guys for the advice
