Hello

Please can I have some advice.

I am a Canadian Citizen living in the UK for the past 20 years.  We have 2 children my eldest is now a Canadian Citizen and the youngest- her Canadian Citizenzhip Certificate application is now being processed.  I've been married for nearly 20 years and all of us are UK citizen also.  My husband and I got married in Canada (so I hope this would help the Canadian Government). Both my husband and I have families in Canada.

I have done a few things already to prepare to go home but obviously many heads are better than 1.

I have opened a bank account in Canada while I was home last year.
I have also received my SIN number with my married name.
I have a letter from my family that we could stay in her house til we get ourselves our own home.
A letter from my niece (just in case) that she will help us financially if need be.
I still have my Canada pension
My husband also has a sister living in Canada and I have written to 2 school regarding my children
and also constantly checking internet for any possible employment.  I have also copies of communications between my friends and I regarding moving back to Canada.

Please what else can I Do to make it faster and efficient.  Any advice- Many thanks

Anna

It sounds like you are doing pretty good already.  Aside from a job offer, there is not much more you can do.

If you're looking to prove that you intend to resettle in Canada, you've pretty much got what you need.  Now just get a sponsorship application in process for your husband's permanent status.

I agree with Leon.  And although it is certainly NOT a requirement, you might sweeten the pot by showing bank statements and/or other documents proving assets and savings to show you have money to support your family for your first few months in Canada.  Again, this is NOT a requirement but if you have it, send it.
