I'm so glad for all of you who have been waiting so long. It is good to see that things have started moving again. Best of luck to all of you. You must know now that your love for each other gives you the strength to get through this time apart, and anything else life throws at you, and soon you will all be together again. Think of the stories you can tell your children and grandchildren!

Penny,

Thank you for your kind words and support, it really means a lot. How is your son-in-law adjusting to life in Canada? Are they coming to visit you for the holidays?

Cheers,

Hi,

Could anyone tell me how long it usually takes for the information about the application for sponsorship approval appears on
e-cas after the application receipt date has passed. They just updated the information this morning, and it shows they have processed up to the 26th of Oct. My Application to sponsor my Husband was receivd by them on the 22nd of Oct. I still cannot find any information on e-cas regarding my application.
I paid online so I have been entering that receipt number.

I am just so anxious to have some kind of news.

Also could anyone possibly tell me how long it takes to get the approval letter once the application date has passed.

I miss my Husband so much.

Also, Congratulations to everyone who is receiving good news. I wish speedy processing for everyone. We all need to be with our spouses.

Thanks for any help.

The Embassy's phone calls that are finally coming in are great news for those of us who have been waiting for several months. At the same time, each day is beginning to feel like a month and each week like a year. The anticipation is overbearing. I don't know how much more we can take of this torture before we receive our phone call. The procedure is long. It would be nice to receive an email once in a while from the embassy telling us that our file is being looked at or that they will be contacting us soon, instead of leaving us hanging like this, chewing our finger nails and hoping and praying that tomorrow will be the day.

Overall I am happy for those of you who have received THE phone call and excited for those of you who will be flying to be with your loved ones soon and constantly praying for the rest of us who are still waiting.

I love my wife and miss her so much. I keep dreaming of the day that we will be living together in the same house and not on MSN.
