I agree with habibti with new applicants hiring a representative from the beginning is much better..i wish i wouldve done that to save money and spent more ......
and trust me .....my husband and i ..of course i was worse ....i went into a depression after the refusal i couldnt function ...i didnt want to eat or work or see people i went into a deep depression ...my husband was depressed too but never showed it to me ...hid it from me to bring me back up from mine......this is really a tough process but in a small way it makes your relationship so strong its unreal...
i havent see my husband in 5mths now the ADR was 1mth ago and 1week about and no news uptil now...im confused i guess i can bac on CIC to check but its not showing up at all my file...its so weird ...its the waiting game and its not fun.......

Good luck to all.....

I am sorry Vjamal to hear about your situation.  I am in a very good position to understand you.  I have not seen my husband in 5 months and a half and I have to wait 6 more months before I can see him again.  I snapped out of my depression.  I guess it was not as deep as yours.  I am the kind of nature who bounces back quickly.  And you know what helps me a lot (other than the chocolate fondue lol) ?  I set myself some goals for every single month until I see him again and I found a renewed energy.  One of my three jobs is to work for a language website and this website is expanding so much that there is now too much work.  I can work as many hours as I want on this site.  The more time I work for them, the more I earn money of course.  So I work non-stop until bedtime (I miss reading books!!!) when I come back from my other two jobs and my full weekend is devoted to this website too.

With the extra money I am doing, I did some plans for the house.  I start seeing the denied visa as a blessing.  Other than the fact, I get to know more about my husband's character and strength (how he is coping with failure, grief and stress), it allows me to have the freedom to work 18 hours a day 7 days a week.  If he was here, I would not be able to earn all that extra money.  I would spend my evenings with him and we would do outings together on the weekend.  He would take lots of my attention.  So, this month I am planning to pay off a few old bills and new tires on my car.  February, I am going to have my hot water tank and toilet replaced.  Youhou!  It will be exciting to shop for a new toilet lol... never done that before!  March, I will replace my fridge, my dryer and my washing machine.  April, I will pay off my credit card and taxes.  May, I will buy airfare for my trip to Morocco and airfare for my mother so she come here while I am gone and June I will use the extra money to rent an apartment for my husband and I.  He said he will pay for the rest:  food, transportation, outings, etc.  I find this quite exciting and he gives me the courage to hold on.  When my husband is here one day, all will be ready for him and I to start a new life.  It is like I am clearing the way until he comes...

Having said that, is there anything you would like to achieve that would take your mind off the immigration file?  Something exciting that would bring you a sense of accomplishment and therefore you would feel less depressed, less defeated?  Something to look forward to it?  I can't wait to go shopping for my new toilet let me tell you lol

Sending you my best thoughts.  Hang in there girl!  You will see time will fly faster if you set some goals, does not matter their size.  Imagine... it has been already 4 months since my husband got the interview!  and 2 months since the refusal letter!  I am sure when we will be in June, we will be surprised to realize how fast it went.

It has been a whole year for me without seeing him. And there is no money for me to travel this year either.

I am waiting with baited breath to see what happens.

But I am still here... still waiting... just like everyone else. That in itself is amazing.. haha

You gotta admit... we are a different breed us folks...  Grin

I have done this before...between the time of cic my 2nd trip to the interview that was refused i hadnt seen my husband for 10ths then went to morrocco for 6mths then now 5mths 1/2 not seeing him either im just tired of this waiting game ( je suis tanner).....

For goals well unfortunately cant do much i work full time sometimes i put overtime when i can .....and through this whole process i incured too many debts..so my goals are just to be able to pay my living expenses and my minimu payments for debts cant do much even if i want to by this or need that ..cant........

i dont expect my husband to come here and go to work right away but after awhile he will and that will be a big help to me and the physical and emotional company that at this point i need....

habibti you work too much oufffff i would lose it ...i cannot do that ...i was doing 6days a week at my full time job and i was sooo tired ,,,

but i am still very patient and my husband makes me stronger so take it day by day....

And by the way, you said yesterday that the loss of the relationship evidence you had stored only on your computer is going to be a real problem for your application.......didn't you send all the relationship evidence initially when you sent the package to Mississauga? This is what I did, after making a complete copy of the documents that I included for my records. It's true that when they ask for an interview they'll often put in the interview request letter that you should bring additional proof of relationship (although you have to keep in mind that they use a form letter so most of the language there is not an individual request), but the point is, the vast majority of the relationship evidence would have already been included in the application, and hence the file Rabat received from Ontario, and you would have photocopies of it all in case they did something like lose it (gasp, I know, so unheard of with CIC  Roll Eyes).

Hi, I'm new to this forum and have been reading this thread since earlier this evening. My husband, from Morocco, goes for his interview tomorrow morning in Rabat. We asked the VO, after receiving the email of requesting additional proof of our relationship, if it had to be from the beginning since we had sent all that with the application. They responded with only having to provide for the last 3 months. Thank goodness  Grin because we have been a couple for 4 years (married for 1yr).

Also..can someone explain how to change my profile so I can add our AOR etc.  Cheesy
