Hi Everyone;

I think your applications are taking more time than some of ours that were processed in April/May because:

1.  Ours were processed before the summer (slower processing times in the summer because of volume of tourist visa applications and holidays)
2.  Slower processing times because of Ramadan

Hopefully things will pick up speed now that summer and Ramadan is over!

Hi Adam
Yes I thought you had applied in August. On Trackitt, there is a Bouras, who I thought might be you, who applied in May! and still hasn't had an interview. So take heart! I'm sure it will be soon. Really it hasn't been that long, but I know how you feel. I remember so well. It seems much longer. Soon all this will be behind you. I think Isabelle applied the same time as you and Raven. Have you been talking to Boubaker, Isabelle's husband. You could support each other through this.
My thoughts are always with you, and hoping you and Raven, and Isabelle and Boubaker will hear the good news soon.

I have a spreadsheet (don't laugh) of most of the people starting from Abdel to now. This is the timeframe from applying to the interview time. Kelly's only took 2 months. Abdel's & Tracy's was 3 months & 2 months. Zahra's was 2 months. My Rachid & Chris' was a little over 3 mos. I thought I'd tell you this, so you see that you are inline really with everyone. It just seems so much longer doesn't it. I hope that when you come to Canada Adam, that I will be able to meet you and Vesna. We live so close. I've yet to meet Yasmina & Youssef. They live close to me too. One day!!!!

Hi everyone,
This is such a gift to find this site!!  I have spent the past half hour reading many of your very friendly and helpful posts.  I am in Toronto like Cindy and Raven.  My husband and I married in Kenitra (very close to Rabat) in May and sent our application for residency July 11.  Got sponsorship approval Aug. 11, then the AOR letter from Rabat on Aug. 17.  So it's been about 2.5 months since the embassy got the application and no word yet about the interview, but I know it's within the normal time frame so no worries yet.

However that doesn't mean it's easy.  Yes Isabelle, reading your posts I can feel your pain, the waiting is certainly the hardest part.  Somebody was writing about how hard it was to leave Maroc the very next day after getting married--that's what I had to do as well!  It was like I was missing a limb when I got home and it's been a very long wait since then but I'm heading back over the holidays in December like a couple of you as well.

Question: I know there was a post a long time ago about interview questions but if anyone else would like to share their specific questions it would be really helpful.
Thanks all!
