Sponsoring husband from Morocco

Hi locolynn,,No the VO didn't give my husband any form's to redo his medical,,when my husband had his interview my husband mentioned at the end of the interview that his medicals will expire in Oct,,the VO said redo your medicals because,,she said the process to finish might take from 1 month to 3 months to be finalized,,,the confusing part for me is,,the Dr. that my husband went to,,she gave him 2 forms to send back to me...and she kept the other forms to send to Paris...the application is in Rabat so why would my husband send me the 2 forms,,,unless the Dr. is confused about the whole process. Any how my husband will send the 2 forms to Rabat to be attached to our application.

So what forms did he take to the dm?

Tell him to send it by courier with the cover letter.

I just checked too and I have the same message!!!!  OMG!  Does it mean the visa is almost on its way?  I am shaking writing this message!!!

Just took the ones off cic's website?

you can just download the medical forms from the website
but they dont have to accept them (i havent heard of a case in morocco where it hasnt been accepted)
the medical redo form that they will send you (could be by email) would have your husbands file number and his picture

if you are redoing it without them requesting it then ensure his file number is on it with a letter explaining they are redo meds
problem is that the doctor is the one that sends them to immigration, so you need to be absolutely sure the file number is added
in your situation, i would redo them, without them asking

if you are going to do that then you may as well send in all the forms your husband had to fill out from the original application ie permenant residence app, additional family, places he has travelled, with the 8 pics, just as you did initially, he will also need another criminal record.....goodluck!!!

i was responding to locolyn, VO saying to download medicals from net is not the norm, neither is doctor giving papers to be sent to the sponsor ... would be interesting to see what the papers meant for you were... please do let us know...maybe its a new norm???been on here four years...thats a first time i've heard that...doesnt mean anything is wrong, so dont worry!!!! goodluck

Sigh. You and me both sister. lol!

Thanks for your advice though. He went to the DMP and they said no dice without the form from Rabat. Great. My MP's office also told us that Rabat is ridiculously busy so I shouldn't be surprised they haven't responded to my email. Again...great.

Oh well. Onwards and Upwards.

I am confused....

A while back we received an email stating that Ecas had made a change. When I checked it, it said that my husbands app was received on Aug 9, 2011 (which we already had confirmation for) but it also said... We started processing your application on Aug 16, 2011.

When I checked in today... not sure why but I did. That last part is gone!!! So what the heck does that mean? (if anything) Did they not really start processing? Is this just a glitch in Ecas?

Any suggestions as to how I can find out?
