Incha Allah!!! We have another interview for the end of this month...we are hoping that is the final step. But it's the government so, who knows. He could be called for an interview because someone forgot to cross a t or dot an i so they have to redo the whole process.

This really is one of the longer cases...I think there may be some people on the pakistan thread that are in similar situations...it's the background checks - I am a helluva lot more zen about it now compared to 3 years ago. Lol. I can't complain too much though. We are fortunate enough to be able to go to a 3rd country to live and work so we can be together as a family.

hi all of you many thanks for your replies they are good, i am not taking IELTS for Canada i want to use it to immigrate another country and stay there for awhile then enter canada from that country it just an idea what do you think ?? also i will wait til my application procesed if approved that would be good if refused i will take that change to immigrate to other country stay there for a while then enter canada later to my wife also my wife will be allowed to visit me because she hold canadian passport so what do you think all of you ?? looking forward reading your advices

It's the middle of the night here - so here comes some harsh truth:

Aziz you need to grow up and figure out what your goals are and be honest with wife, your family and especially yourself.

Is your primary goal to be with your wife or to get out of Morocco?  And please know that I am not trying to say that wanting to get out of morocco makes you a liar or a cheat or a bad person. It doesn't. Morocco is a fantastic place to visit, especially when you have money - but a tough place to live, especially when you aren't rich.

So if being with your wife is the priority - then you should sit tight in Morocco. Go back to school, get educated and apply in your own right. That way when you get to Canada you can be a good husband, brother and son and support your family as they will have supported you in your dream to be with your wife. In the meantime, your wife can visit.

However, if - when you are honest with yourself  -it turns out your main concern is to get out of Morocco, then do it. Get out of Morocco. Live your life. Buy a work contract, show up in a country that you don't need a visa for and try looking for work, whatever. Get a job and see where that road leads you. Perhaps it will take you to Canada, perhaps somewhere you never imagined. You just need to be honest with your wife and let her know what is what.

Heck for all I know, maybe you and your wife have already had this conversation and she is cool to support you in your dream to get out of Morocco. In which case, you probably aren't in the right forum for that.

Doubtful he'll *reply* in the true sense of the word to anyone's advice, although I too can't wait to read his spin on things.

That's why I asked which town he's from actually, because I suspect he's not from a big city (decision document cited that his wife just traveled to "Morocco").

What Lynn said re: Morocco being nice to visit when you have money, not so nice to live in when you don't is very true. I would add that if his feelings of despair are in part because he lives in a small town in the middle of nowhere and he's desperate to get out to see the world, he needs to know that young people growing up in Canada and the United States, two of the richest countries in the world, who also live in small towns have similar feelings.
