noubi is right. In fact, it is NOT normal for a Moroccan woman to change her name. My husband thought it was very strange that we often do that in Canada and in other countries.

to all the women who are sponsoring there hubby to canada,,,make sure you know your husband well,,,i would recomend to hire investigater to find out who your hubby really is,,,after 2 yrs my hubby came here, i believe he is bipolar and turned out to be a closet drunk,,witch means he hides behind closed doors away from other muslims,,,and he became very abusive because in morocco they have the right to beat there wifes,,,and they dont research canadian culture to find out it is unexeptable here,,house work is slavery to them,,,,understand well there culture

My husband picked up his visa today (after only 4 months of waiting). He was told that it's a good idea to translate any documents he has from arabic to either french or english. Does anyone know if copies of translated documents would be accepted with the immigration officers at the airport?

i dont know what they refering to. but he dont need any morocan documents anymore for translation into englihs. did IO say exactly what the documents they talking about?? did u hubsand had interview? or just pickup visa only? can u plz ask him? if he interview by a man or a woman and what languge? also ask him how many people were there outside waiting in line |
