boras for peopel have been in another country more than 6 month in this last 10 years ,the embassy ask them the police certificate from this country ,of course it must be clean
and after the interview they check out your backgound in morocco and in this other country,for that they give the visa one month later after the interview,for this security verification,but i dont think that will be long ,good luck boras and i hope that the process gonna be easy and fast,coz the immigration office in rabat do a very good fast and good work .

Abdel, since you will be leaving for Canada soon, I would like to say a BIG THANK YOU on behalf of everyone in our "club". Because you live in Maroc, it gave us a better idea of what was happening your end. You have been so supportive, and kept our spirits up when we were discouraged. It's amazing that in such a short time, you have become a big part of my life, as well as, I'm sure, the lives of the others in our club. I hope this is not goodbye, and that one day inchallah, we will all meet.

Abdel - Thank you so much for all your support. When will you be leaving to be with your wife. She must be so so happy.
Penny I hope we get a call soon and your daughter will be bringing her husband back home with here when she is leaving morocco this time.
Mornie- I am sure we will get our call next week. If not my MP is going to get in touch with the visa office to do some checking. He is actually the secretarty treasurer to our prime minister also. And I do alot of work for him at election time so he said he would help and give them a call next week. But hopefull we will get our call before then.

Tracy when is your husband coming home you must be so happy? Did you find a place to live yet?

Please i am getting married next week here in morocco and i already know about the process i'llgo throu so far but i Need someone of you Ladies and gentel men lol to tell me please what will i have to do after w eget the marriage certificate , cuz i ve read about some forms so i downloaded them already to not waste time. i mean when she gets here she better find it already filled up !  but anyone please who went through this i would like to know what to do now PRETTY please

Hello Everyone;

Happy belated Canada Day everyone!  Hopefully tomorrow will bring more good news to club members regarding visas, etc. I'm sure the Embassy was closed today as it's a holiday in Canada.

We are planning for my husband to arrive in Canada mid month as he is getting his visa on Wednesday.  I have so much to do (yes Kelly, I found a place to live) but I'm so excited about his arrival.  It's been a day I dreamed about for so long and soon it will happen. 

Samir - it sounds like you are getting married very soon.  I hope your wife has read the application guide before she leaves.  You will need to make sure your PR application is complete and signed so she can take it back to Canada with her.  There is a lot to explain about the application - the best thing to do is read it carefully and go over it together while your wife is in Morocco.  If you have specific questions don't hesitate to ask the group - many of us have had successful applications.

Cindy - you must be leaving for Morocco soon!  Have a wonderful trip and I hope everything goes smoothly with your marriage.  It sounds like you guys are pretty prepared.

i was at the embassy today with tracy's husband and i met all the people who had the interview with me ,they have the visa juste today at 16h00 in the same time as rachid tracy's husband,now i think that rachid will receive the call in the end of this week or in monday

Yes - Rachid sent me a crazy email with the good news.  I'm so glad you were able to spend some time together before you leave Morocco.  Good luck with the long flight to Vancouver - I'm sure everything will be ok with your travels (navigating London/Heathrow).  I look forward to meeting both you and Loretta very soon.

I am so excited I'm already having a hard time sleeping - can't believe I'll see my husband in 11 days!  I'm sure everyone else who is waiting will hear news soon - the Embassy appears to be processing visas quicker than they indicate on the website.  Thank God for that!
