hi friends,
some ppls saying that if the couple married in the first trip they would have a long process ,for exemple i got married with my wife in the first trip for her in morocco,so thats would be an issue? friends i was optimist for along time but now iam done ..my wife called the MP and the mp  did an inquiry and they called the immigration canada that it also called embassy rabat and they give them delay of 3 weeks if they will not contact me in the next 3 weeks so they will do investigation against them ,so friends what do you think???

My MP's office contacted me again today.  The embassy wrote to them and said my husband will be interviewed in September.  They didn't say what DAY in September but it's better than nothing!  So my husband will definitely have to redo his medical which expires on September 1st.  So med, maybe you are right!  Bugging them is a good thing!  But 10 months is too long to wait for an interview!  Anyway, I'm CHOOSING to be happy about this news!

abdo12, my MP told me the same thing.  If the embassy does NOT contact my husband for an interview in September, the MP's office will do some further investigations for me.  That's all that this means.

I don't know if it's any more difficult if you married your wife the first time she went to Morocco.  Our situations are completely different.  I did NOT meet my husband on the internet and we were married on my 6th trip to Morocco, one year after we met.  I have also travelled to Morocco 3 more times since we were married.  So you and I have completely different circumstances yet we are both still waiting.  Maybe some other members who have similar stories to yours can give you some advice.  I think the key is to just be as prepared as possible.

So wish us luck my friends.  I am praying that my husband is able to arrive in Canada before my birthday in late October.  And good luck to all of you!  Ramadan moubarak!

abdo 12
i dotn think that if you were married on the first visit has an impact. i was married on the first visit to my husband and we leave for canada this weekend. they do look at things like who attended the marriage, if mmbers of both families were there as well as the pictures to see who was a the wedding and what kind of stuff you two have done together. I also read that age difference can be a factor in the process.

 but to answer ur question i dont think that marriage on first visit has a direct impact, but that is based on my personal experience.

 what i have learned tho is that they will usually call on wednesday or thursday  adn visas are only picked up on wednesdays. when u go to pick up your visa  you drop it off in the morning and you come back in the afternoon to pick it up at they give you a packet of information to help you with ur transition to canada.

abdo marrying someone in the first visit is not an issue for them at least i know a friend of mine who has been in contact with a canadian chick for almost a year and the first time she came to morocco they got married and she stayed with him for two months then she left and she never came back , he got his visa after 7 months and they never asked him in the interview abt that at all , so just dont let it bother you as long as you have proof of an ongoing relationship ;
rejessome , am happy for you and i hope your hubby will be with you even before your birthday
  goodluck for all and plz keep us posted abt anything new
