hello
thank you nooda ,and welcome in our club between your friends, you are the first moroccan girl  in the forum like lady penny said
i thin the same as lady penny that (dision made) mean that the sponsorship was aproved by the Mississauga CIC Office in canada, and they sent the application to the canadian embassy in rabat, and now they started the immigration and the permanent residency process
me and my wife we got married in april 2006 and i had the med exam in january and in ( (01/ february2007) ) my wife sent the application to the mississauga cic office, and in ( (18/ march/2007 ) ) the sponsorship was approved ,then in ( (28 march/2007) ) i received one letter from the embassy telling me that they received the application ,and they started the process for my immigration visa ,two month later ( (28/may/2007 ) )i had my interview, and about one mothe later( (27/june/2007) ) i will pick up the visa inshallah
i think that you can have one idea about how much time take all the process

Welcome Nooda. Yes my husband is from Safi. And I recall meeting you at the cafe with my husband and we discussed those papers you needed for your marriage. Congratulations on your wedding. My husband is waiting for his interview date now. I will not return to Safi as I am not able to. I will wait until he comes here to Canada to meet with him again. I hope one day we can all meet and share stories of how our lives are going. This forum is also good for when all are here so we can keep in touch and ask quiestions.Abdel I am so excited for you. And your situation gives us hope and a good idea of time frame for the rest of us.  Have a great day....Scoobet

Hello
Abdel I have a question for you. When you go to pick up your visa tomorrow check and see if the other people that were there for their interview on the same day you were got their visa also. If they did them all in a group. I would like to see if all the ones that had the interview on may 28 also got there visa the same day. Again I am so happy for you abdel.

Take Care

Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiii Scoobet,
It's soooooooooooooo nice to hear from you, I've just read your message. Thank you for your nice comments and I hope you will be with your husband soon. I still remember our meeting at the café in Safi, thank you very much for sharing your information with us. I was going to tell your husband  last night but it's was  vey late when we saw the information on CIC.
Abdel, thank you very much , your information is very helpful, it gives us a time line. Now we have an idea how long it takes before we'll receive the visa. Again "alf mabrouk" on your visa and I wish it on us all
(very soon).

Welcome to Boras and Nooda!

Nooda - I have spent a little time in Safi as my husband is from Youssoufia. We had to go to Safi many times for our marriage papers. I think more than Safi I know the road from Youssoufia to Safi...

I have more good news everyone - my husband heard from the Embassy this morning. His visa is ready next Wednesday!!!  It looks like Wednesdays are the day for any and all visa pick ups.  OMG i'm so happy - we have waited for this day for so long. Now I have to get ready for his arrival (I don't have a place to live at the moment and have been trying to find one for some time).  I hope I find one in the next week (I've been staying with my parents)!!!

Thanks for the update Abdel - I will talk to your wife today about flights.

Have a good day everyone,

Tracy

WOW, how exciting.

I'm so happy my husband came across this message board and told me about it. I'm excited for you Tracy and good luck to you with finding a place and with getting your husband home with you. I can't wait to be a normal married couple.

My husband is from Marrakech too and I left 4 days after our wedding. It took us 2 weeks but that was hard, two trips to Rabat, running around everywhere. I joked to my husband that everything in Morocco was "hurry up and wait". I am so glad that part is over and now we're going to be submitting our application soon, still waiting for 2 documents he needs.

This message board is really a Godsend because reading everyones happy stories is inspiring and gives me a lot of hope that my love with be at home with me very soon.
