I meant the government's policy is rubbish, not your post.  I understand your anger, that's utterly unbelievable you have to deal with something like that.  8 months to make a decision?! And they claim Jamaicans are slow at getting things done! 

I didn't take your post the wrong way. I'm just so angry...when typing I just let it all out. After 4 years of finally having our dream come this happens.

If we can all get through this constant stress, we can get through anything. I wish to everyone to have good news soon.

But I emailed the embassy just for the fun of it to see if they would respond. I asked them if my husband should bring the receipt to the embassy. Now I will wait and see what happens.

I am also waiting for him to fax me the form I need to allow the MP's office to make an inquiry on our behalf. He will do that tomorrow or Thurs and I can get that angle covered too.

16 months now since I have been able to hold my husbands hand.  I miss him so much.

I would always email the embassy. Just easier. Fingers crossed you get an answer.

How can I say "no" ?  Of course girl, I would take you in my suitcase with a happy heart !!!

However, my suitcase is quite small... lol  This time I decided to travel very light!  I am not going to check in at the counter.  Last year they lost my suitcase!  Soon it will be a year without my husband.  I don't want to lose time and wait for my luggage when I get off the plane.  As soon as the plane lands, I take my carry-on and runs to my husband!  I just bring a pair of shorts, some camisoles, a short skirt and a couple of summer dresses.  Once in Morocco, I will buy a couple of djellabas I am going to wear over my short and camisole when we go out.  I might buy some clothes over there too.  I don't need that many clothes in Morocco, it is SO HOT there!  While my husband is working, I will stay in our apartment and work from there with my laptop.  And I might just eat and sleep, two activities I have not been doing normally for months!  IF we win this appeal of course!  It will be SO GOOD to have peace of mind once I am in Morocco.  The whole nightmare behind me!  So if you can shrink to fit in a pocket... come on in!

im so sorry dair i feel for you seriously....the immigration process is hard enough and then this ..... I also feel that in my case we won the ADR weve done everything we r waiting for 2years 1/2 cmon .........now still silence ...anticipating the phone call for his visa i even told my husband to take his cell in bathroom just not to miss the call ......

Habibti i pray for u and ur husband i hope ur hearing goes well and you can have some peace of mind when youre there....ok well i go with you in your other pocket lol......

i can only say that i dont eat either normal and even if i do eat ....nothing taste delicious to me its a weird feeling its like im eating to be able to function....i have been through so much in life but this process takes the cherry ouffff very hard on all angles...but hopefully soon all of us will be done with it and live life with no regrets....

Yes I am the same... nothing tastes good. I rarely have the desire to eat and when I do it is fleeting.

I actually had to get some sleeping pills from my Dr to allow me to get some sleep.

I want so badly to go to Morocco... if I could I would just stay there till all this was over.

But I have some holiday time coming up and I am going to spend it with my daughter and I am really looking forward to this as well because she is growing up so fast.

Wish everyone safe travels even though I am totally jealous... hahaha

if you type : maroc ou rabat , you will see all the groups related and even some cases with Tunis ou Algeria. on the link, you will someone who brought her spouse in 6 month from Algeria. Usually, it should takes longer like Tunis and Morroco should takes less time. Anyway, each case are different.

Thank you... I am working really hard at being positive and thankful that we are in the last days before we get an answer.

Even though my husband refuses to take the medical receipt to the embassy I am trusting that he is right and that the Dr has faxed them to let them know it was done. My husband seems to think that maybe France is just busy right now and we have to wait our turn.

hahaha .. I am much more of a bull in this department. I want to go and take the receipt to the embassy myself lol. My hands are tied in this and it is driving me nuts.

Fatimzahra, unless the school board is holding your husband's passport or have imposed a travel restriction upon him that would be enforced by Moroccan immigration, the day after the school year is over he can get on a plane to Canada.  NOBODY can stop him.

Dair, I answered your PM but I'm having trouble remembering something.  When your husband redid the medical, did he take the Appendix C or the letter sent from the Embassy?  In any event, the process is that the results get sent to Paris to the Regional Medical Officer for review.  They are entered into the system and there they sit until RABAT requests them.  His file in Rabat will have a bring forward date on it to remind the staff to send this request, ELECTRONICALLY.  And the results will be sent back to them from Paris ELECTRONICALLY.  Sounds like the doctor did everything needed.
