Sponsoring husband from Morocco

Hi everyone,

I send last week the IMM 5540 like the embassy ask us to do. Today, my husband went over there to send more info about our relationship. He said he saw our file and our pictures that i send at Misssissauga. He said the lady ask him about the my paper that i was supposed to do. She said she didnt receive but lhamdoullilah i also send it by fax to my husband and he gave it to her lhamdoullillah. But my question is i took the number from the CIC site  for the fax number and i choose about the immigration and not the mission number...  anyway, i hope everything will be alright!

You know one thing that really bothers me that was in the GCMS notes. They said we did not have a marriage party... when there was photos to the contrary with the app. Just because we did not have hundreds people and I did not change 25 times does NOT mean it was not a party. My husband and I are not overly social people and this party was at his sisters house, he did not want to burden his sister with hords of people. Sheesh...   I have seen others marriage party photos and they are really not that much different than mine.

Oh and she asked him why I waited so long to apply ?? ?? ?? Um, 4 months is long when I just paid to go on vacation and for a marriage and for a medical and for police certificates....not to mention I had to pay $1040 for this damn application??? Oh yes VO .. I have money growing on the tree in my backyard I totally forgot... 

This whole thing just reeks of double standards and corruption. If my husband was "friends" with the right people I am sure this would not even be an issue.

I am reordering the notes now that the interview is over ... just out of sheer curiosity.

Thanks again!  I really appreciate you take the time to answer me and that you are willing to talk to him.  I really appreciate it.  For now, I just feel completely disheartened.  I am at my lowest right now.  I got a migraine all day and I did not accomplish much.

you don't have to thank me,i really understand what you are going through and i don't want you to take any decision before you try all of your chances to make things work out again between you and your husband
to be honest with you,i would prefer if i hear the story from him too,to see if i can find out where the problem is,,,but i did believe everything you said about him and as i said before,he shouldn't treat you that way,,,and i have a strong feeling his depression is because of the denied visa,no matter what he says,i know it's because of that,,,
maybe he lost hope,, which is really wrong,,,,because just with more patience,i know he will get his visa and he will be there with you in Canada,,, but he has to change his behavior first,,,that's a marriage,,,it's not a simple or a normal relationship,,it's something more bigger then that

My hubby was asked why, if we got married in January 2009, why did it take until April 2011 to submit the application. Nice try!! We met for the 1st time in Januray 2009 and were married FEBRUARY 2011!

I filled out that form with the original application. If they asked for it then fill it out and send it.

Hubby had to fill out IMM5669 form and bring it to the interview.

I want to apologize for not being active on here and responding to everyone's post. I feel for everyone of you since we are going through this all together. My family had a great loss last Sunday. My Mom passed away after a fierce fight with cancer. I'm lost, numb and angry all at once. My husband is also feeling the same way & worse of not being able to comfort me in the very difficult time other then through a cam. We are getting through this day by day.

I know I still posted to encourage Dair & her husband for their interview but if I posted something that was confusing I apologize.

Habibti, I hope and pray that you both find peace in your hearts. It's so difficult to go through this without feelings of depression and wondering if there will ever be an end.

Is your hubby afraid that the outcome will be the same? Maybe if he sets himself up for this he won't hurt again. Just a thought.

I am feeling for you a lot habibti... sending you my best thoughts and prayers. Truly in the end you must do what is best for you and your son... he is the first man in your life and the one you must think about and make the best decisions for. I appreciate where you are at in days like these.

No, I am not giving up... not yet lol lol
My husband did not lose hope.  He wants SO MUCH to have a life with me and he is excited to know I am coming in 100 days or so.  Last night, he sent me an email to tell me he misses me so much these days, more than usual and that makes him sad.  On top of that he is dealing with some serious family problems and the fact I am not next to him to go through all that depresses him.  It is just his lack of response, his lack of interest towards me that affects me these days...  I share with him things that matter to me, but I feel it does not matter to him or he does not care.  And Saturday and Sunday he contacted me around midnight (his time), so he is tired and does not have time and energy left for me.

I am truly sorry for your great loss FatimZahra.  You have all my sympathies for this painful time.  I will say a prayer tonight for you and your dear mother.

I was generally familiar with the baksheesh/rashwa thing over there but just didn't expect it to spread to doctor's offices that were actually selected to work with Canadian Immigration. But I guess she figured since she can't quite solicit a bribe for creating favorable medical results no matter what, she'd solicit one for "expediting" the results to the regional processing centre, assuming that people would fall for it. It's a good thing that you're familiar enough with the process that you were able to conclude it would make no difference how soon the information got there, only how soon it were to be requested by Rabat. I'm just surprised that your husband, being the Moroccan in the relationship, was the one who was actually ready to fork over 6 times the money he needed to spend!

They told him to go to same Dr. and there is only 3 Drs in Rabat that the embassy accepts..  

This is the way it is in Morocco... everywhere.

I never did it in the original application cuz they asked for it. So this was brand new and i was wondering why would they ask this after everything you send... I wanted to ask if somebody else did it and if they knew something :S
