my husband recently applied for the family class sponsorship of his parents. I'm also interested in sponsoring my parents but i only have a part time job and my salary doesn't match the required eligibility. I know my husband can co-sign for me in order for me to reach the required household income. If he co-signs for my parents, will it affect his parents application process??

yes and no because parental sponsorship there is a minimum income required so the affect would be the amount he is now required to maintained thru the sponsorship would be increased as he now has to take into consideration your parents so overall his income and yours needs to be sufficient to cover those in your household presently and those that are being sponsored

Indeed! Only that the minimum income is SO incredibly low that anyone would qualify without any problems. I am surprised that they have not revised it in years.

If the OP has no children and the parents have no children the LICO for 6 people is 58,838.
