As a Canadian citizen, I'm planning to sponsor my family (my Wife & my 4 months old Daughter), and I'm almost done with the forms, I want it to make sure everything is fine before I send the forms.

Just use the document checklists provided with the applicant's forms and the sponsor's forms and you should be fine.  Be aware that some sections of the sponsor's forms repeats documents required of the applicant that are detailed in the applicant's checklist. 

Your list looks okay - but you seem to be missing sufficient "evidences" of your ongoing, genuine relationship.  Wedding pictures alone are not enough - you need to provide evidence of the development of your relationship, proof of ongoing correspondence and contact, proof of visits to spend time with one another, etc.

Just to be sure... you must include the Option-C printout and NOT your Notice of Assessment forms.  They are two different documents and CIC does not require the N. of A. forms.  You have to call Revenue Canada for them to mail you your Option-C printout.

my wife filled the [IMM 0008 GENERIC] form. Does she have to mention me in it and do I have send my pictures as-well?

I was pretty confused with this one too.  I never filled my name out in the "Details of Family Members" nor added a pic of me.  I have yet to send the application in so if I'm wrong I hope someone can tell us soon!

After getting through to Immigration at the call centre, I was told that if I was doing an Outland Sponsorship of my spouse while residing overseas that I did not need to include an Option C Printout in my application because it is not applicable N/A. Rather, I should put details about my income tax in the overseas country where I am working on a separate sheet.

thaihubbie - we have just completed our landing and when we filed our application we got the same answer.  As the sponsor filed an out-land and did not reside in Canada - no Option C was requried, but a letter explaining why.

I'm so happy for you that you landed successfully doing an Outland Sponsorship while living overseas. How did you prove you could re-establish yourself in Canada? Which types of documents did you send in regarding employment and income? Any advice would be great!

thaihubby - we were lucky and got a job offer for my wife offering her job once she moved to Canada. That was proof of her intention to return.  I also wrote a letter explaining the steps I had taken to secure a job in Canada (scheduled job interviews, references from a couple of recruiters, my resume, diplomas etc). We also provided letters from friends and family explaining our sincere wish to settle down in Canada but also how they would help us with housing (and financially) for the first few months if needed.  Finally, we provided proof of funds showing CIC that we would be able to support our family until I found a job (since my wife's offer wouldn't be enought to support a family).

Second scenario: What if I wanted to do an Outland sponsorship of my spouse who is from a Visa-required country (Thailand)but I apply from Canada while I'm here on holiday. I send in the application from Canada where I haven't lived for the past 5 years (from my parents address), would I still be able to mark the Option C request as Non-Applicable? Would I then be able to go back to Thailand, be with my husband and then return to Canada before him so I'm here with our daughter when he Lands?
Complicated? Stressful?:yes

If you define yourself as already living in Canada at your parents address, you can still say Option C printout is N/A because you have just moved to Canada and you haven't had any income there yet.
