HELLO ALL,

I Just received my passport with visa stamped from NYVO and I am planning to move to canada in May 2012.  I have a brother who is 17 years old and in future, I want to sponsor him under Family Class.

Now my questions are:

1. Is he eligible for Family class visa?
2. By the time he will receive the visa, his age will be 18. Is it a problem?
3. At the time of approving visa, VO considers Age of applicant at the time of application or age when he gets visa?

thank you guys.

1.  The only way that you could sponsor your brother is if he is an orphan under the age of 18. The age is locked in when the office receives the application.
