Hello,
I will soon be apply for my skill worker visa however my brother has mentioned also wanted to emigrate however he doesnt currently meet the points need to do it on his own.

Does the points system apply for relatives you sponsor?

No, but you can't sponsor a brother, unless an orphan under 18.  There is a family component in Alberta/Manitoba/Sask, if you are residing there for at least 1 year after becoming a PR.  He still would have to qualify.
