Sponsoring a spouse !!!

Hi, I am not yet married, but will be soon. I got the landing visa but the problem is that it will expire before I will get married. So if I do the landing, can I start sponsoring my spouse immediately ? Can I extend the expiry date of the landing visa for few months till I get married so that I spare myself the hassle of sponsorship ?

1.  You better "land" before you marry as you COPR will expire and you will have to re=apply.
2.  No they wont extend your visa so you can be spared the "hassle"
