hi fiance is wondering what the difference is between a short form and a long form birth certificate,. please help. thanks in advance.

they sent an email mmnasar
as far as i know egypt has only long form which includes the father's name and mother's name, etc.
If there is a short form and i don't know about.. get the long one.

so finally visa is issued..
Feb 28 recivied by CIC-M
March 7th, approved
April 22, Cairo started processing
July 8th, requested additional documents..
July 27th, submited documents
August 13th, Requested passport.
August 28th, submited passport
September 7th, requested us to pick up passport with visa issued.

Hi Everyone,
I have been reading this thread for a long time now. I'm sponsoring my wife who lives in Gaza. Her application started processing on May 5 2008 and I have not heard anything yet from them. She received the AOR in June.
Does anyone know when they update the e-cas?

Hello Ghasan,
Welcome here.
E-cas will not updtate :D. My husband's didn't and they already issued the visa. Did you give them an email to contact u or your wife. They will use ur wifes email. or Call her.
Did you send good evidance? If you did then they will waive the interview for her.
They started processing mine on April and the first I heard from them is july 8th and they started processign on April 22nd. So about two months. If everything is going good you may not hear from them till the request for passport! They requested more documents from me.

I have submitted all the required documents and proofs. However I couldn't send pictures because I was not able to go to Gaza in the past 2 years. I have just sent more documents to them to prove our relationship. Calling card receipts from last year until now, phone bills from vonage that we use to talk with each other, and MSN chats. Don't know what else I can send them. The situation is trouble in Gaza and there is no way for me to go to Gaza or a way for her to leave Gaza. Anyway, inshallah, I hear something from them soon. Thanks again.

U mean u didn't have wedding photos?
How did u get married then?
ok did u get two letters at least from two professionals ie your professor or doctors who know about ur relationship? Did you get letters of support from your family and canadian friends? Did you explain your situation and told them why you couldn't get photos. There is another form in this where it explains what u need to send so u can check it. Use the thread with egypt work in it to find it.

Hello mnassar... nope i think we have to do two stops before we go there. I am searching for the perfect flight... they are so expensive. we are still shopping... for u since u are in egypt.. use www.thomascookegypt.comit is greaat. I advice u to try to go through London. I like their airport better.. it is busy and there is good food :) |

I am dying to go to Canada. I want Tim Hortons so bad. This is a coffee shop there. You will love it. It is cheap and v. good and in every corner and in every mall!
I am still searching for a flight. When is ur medical expire or ur visa when does it expire. Let me know!
