Hi,
I'm applying for an Outland Sponsorship of my husband i.e. We are not living in Canada and have been living together in Thailand for the past 3 years. Is it ok if I fill in the Sponsored Spouse Questionnaire etc. etc. for him or does it need to be filled in by him in poor english? It says to give details of our relationship and how we met, I think I can do a better job than him. Being the english speaking wife and all:))

It's okay if you fill it out as long as he signs it Smiley

Sponsored Spouse Questionnaire-IMM 5490 Question #30. It asks the sponsored Spouse "Do you receive financial support from your sponsor"? I (the sponsor) am the main breadwinner. My income supports our family. Does that mean my husband puts he YES receives financial support from me or NO because we live together and share my salary as a family??

I think it's fine if you fill it in for him. I did that for my husband but we filled it in together to pool our ideas. For the letter, he wrote it himself and I only made corrections when the meaning was unclear. It seemed inauthentic to me to correct it into perfect English and my husband just has a really lovely way of wording things that wouldn't have been captured if I wrote it for him.

I answered your Q about financial support in the other thread.
