So just a question:

If someone has his PR status in Canada. Then gets married to an American girl in the States. If they decide to settle down in Canada, does the American Wife need to apply for her PR status? If yes, how? And how long does it take? If the process is lengthy, can she still come right away as a visitor and live in Canada while her paperwork is being sorted? Any insight to this topic would be appreciated. Please share your experience.
