i am canadian citizen, i want to sponsor my common law partner  , we are engange but she cant get married because she is married in the philippines separated for 5 years now and divorce is not legal in philippines.  we are together for almost two years now , we have joint accounts, all our expenses are joint, joint credit cards, insurances and we recently bought a house both of our names. we also sent money to her kids in the philippines.  can i sponsor her even if we are not married?  she came here to canada as a live in caregiver, i stayed with her night time in her employers house and if its her day off thats the time we will go home.  please help.

yes you can sponsor her..if you lived for 1 year together then you qualify plus with all the proof.. no problem even if she is married in her country..she can file for divorce in Canada (go to the family court there is a form there where she will be asked to produce a marriage contract..this is if she wants to marry you then she can file for this) but the relationship you have with her is fine too as long as you can show it is genuine.
Goodluck.
