Hi,

I found a net pal's blog who employed a immigration lawyer to her PR application under common law, submitted in Canada.   Her lawyer said her boyfriend (sponsor) and her (applicant) should sign at the end of the page for each questionnaire which is required to answer on a separate sheet of paper. Their application was finally approved.

I was wondering as it didn't mention in the kit while the questionnaire must be completed by the applicant.

Does anyone know about this?  I want to make sure whether my sponsor and I need to do this as we shall submit our application on our own.

Thanks

We didn't sign anywhere except where the application forms required a signature.  I did, however, include name, form number, page and question number on any separate sheets of paper included in the application that were needed to answer questions in the application.  But didn't sign those sheets of paper, and wasn't asked to later.

Same here. I submitted extra sheets of paper to answer certain longer questions and put our name, date of birth, form name and number and question number at the top. I never signed any, wasn't asked to and was approved. I think if they wanted you to sign each additional sheet of paper, they would tell you to sign it but they don't, so I wouldn't worry about that.

We, as well, did the same as ariell & Robsluv. We included a few extra sheets with additional information and for questions where an answer didn't fit in the box allowed - I indicated the form name/number, our name and the question #. We didn't sign any of these and so far have not seen a problem with this.

I did sign on separate sheet and also asked a witness to do the same thing...although not asked but I did it for a peace of mind. Both of my PR application and sponsorship were done that way and both were approved.

Cheers
