Does CIC pays attention to spelling difference in passport and educational certificates, and if it does is there a way to resolve it. can it be explained to them.

My problem

Name in passport : Mohammed Saif Ameen
Name in Certificates : Mohd Saif Ameen

In india MOHD is understood as short form for Mohammed, something like Chris for Christopher.

Thanks,
Ameen

Hi,
unfortunetly can be a serious problem.
i am explaining my situation to understand.my last name in my passport is VALI ZADEH but in my application by i wrote VALIZADEH just without space. when I want to get travel document the passport canada waste 4 months of my time and asked me to give a proff that my last name is Valizadeh AND  Id with this last name. Finally I had to change my lastname in Dr license and Health card to get travel document and will be take 8 months to get my passport without space. please take this issue serious and solve it.
