Well did you talk to those speedpost guys?

I think its a lot of risk.

One can rather try sending a normal letter first, or if your application is an AEO category

Its good option to send file to CIO NS using speed post, as tracking of post delivery is  convenient by using  indiapost.gov.in and canadapost.ca
it takes six working days to deliver.
This information is based on  my experience,

I Have sent my Application to CIO Nova Scotia. by speed post but it took 17 days to deliver.
packet reached canada within 5 days but in canadian custom it to 13-14 day to get cleared.

one more thing there are different addresses  for Post and Courier delivery  to CIO in canada.

I tell you speed post is cheap, fast and reliable. You can track it also. I send all my documents by speed post. CHC ND send passports back by speed post/ regd post , so why cant we rely upon it.

I thought of updating the new members if they plan to use Speed post from India

This is not a100% time reliable  method as EMS do not have a seperate custom clearance process. The problem starts from India itself as EMS Speed post do not take any declaration what are you shipping , these are documents.

When it lands in canada the custom does not know what it is. So it goes through individual package checking process which goes for number of days ....first in first out base.

In case of DHL they mention it DOX from the starting point. The parcels goes through random checking at Customes. I understand it is DHL responsibility if something else is found inside.

hence the time process of DHL/ FedEX is 100% reliable vs Speed post
