I work on a cuirseship currently, and my itinerary will be changing to The Alaskan Run. We do a 10 day with ports only in the States..however we stop in Victoria for 8 hours.  Do any of you know if you are just a passenger on a cruiseship, and your only in canada for such a short time...Will my partner need to get a Canadian Visitors Visa because he is South African???
I am doing the Mexican run right now, and south africans dont need one for mexico cause we are there for such a short time.
Any of your help would be great, as everyone on this ship is confusing me.

Yes your partner will need a visa. Canada is very strict (racists) with visas for South Africans.
