Hi All,
I am writing this with lots of hope and faith that some one in this forum will help me ,with some response.
I applied for permenant residence under skilled worker category from KINGSTON ,JAMAICA on 8 augast 2007. I was asked to submit my documents by 28 july 2009,and asked for medical along with my wife's on 3 march 2010. We finished medical on 15 april 2010,but the cic contact us with in 15 days and asked my wife to do her medical again as its shows some spots in her xray report. The doctor who sent the report did not find anything wrong ,and  it almost 8 months passed since the repeat medical ,I have not heared any thing from the CIC kINGSTON yet.
The processing time shows in website is 40 months ,but it more then 40 months now .
Can any one help me ,what may be the reason, I sent mail and fax to cic but so far have not received any reply.

Dear stillhopeful,

Send a case inquiry to Kingston, Jamaica Visa Office. Give your file number, name, date of birth, etc.

hello,

Dont worry my friend i too faced the same situation they sent medicals for my wife on dec 1 2010 and we did on 27th dec 2010 after 10days  our local doctor called us again asking to redo the x-ray as per LONDON CHC since they found one spot in the x-ray even the doctor got surprised and we did the x-ray again and she checked it and told every thing is fine till now i don't know why they have asked again for medicals and now i am waiting to hear from them.

I think only person who can reply to you is your VO, I don't know why he is not replying you try your best by mailing or calling. I think they don't have any answer to reply you.

Well, the 40 months are the average of 80% of applications. You need to email them, and let's hope that you get a response soon.

Cheers

Dear Still hopeful,

40 months is average time, secondly they don't guarantee you that you'll be processed within that timeframe and lastly your case don't fall in that timeline as your wife's medicals have been furthered which means bit of extra processing time.

Best thing is to send case specific enquiry and ask them update on your case.

Hi Saleem,

Hi,

We got a call from the Doctor who did our medicals after 10 days. she told that there is some problem and we need to do X-ray again we went to the hospital and met the doctor, asked what is the problem she replied that she got a call from LONDON CHC that they have some doubt of TB after seeing the X-ray and we need to do again the X-ray. as suggested by doctor we went for re x-ray and after the report came we met the doctor she told that every thing is fine nothing to worry and told that she also don't know why they have asked for re X-ray.

We haven't given and sputum sample or neither went for extra check ups just only the X-ray which was waste of money and mental stress for us that's all.

Hi Saleem,
AS per my observation ur DMP i think has lied to you. YOU need to check on which day u did ur medicals and next when the reports were forwarded as per courier tracking given to u.. IF ur xrays were not clear ur DMP could have called u in 1 hour time and told u to redo it. After 10 days it not possible since London CHC takes min 3 weeks to process a medical report. Also if they were not satisfied they usually send a remedical form advicing not to open it and hand over directly to DMP.
In most cases they subject the applicant to sputum tests etc. Go see that DMP and discuss this point with her .

hello shibuya,

Thank you for your advise as we have already done and sent it, so no point of meeting her again. Anyways my experience may help others so that they will keep in mind and won't become pray of some others mistakes.
