Did you ever fill out http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5669E.PDF? It's of the three major documents (see forms in part 2 here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/fc.asp) you as the principal applicant submits to CIC and asks for the educational, work, and residency history details that you are referring to.

Yeah, I remember it being a pain in the butt if you had to go back and correct something while you were doing it. Why do you ask though?
