My husband is in Canada, from Thailand. We are sending his appliaction to singapore.
Any answers would be much much appreciated.

Do I need Imm 5475 so his info can be released to me or is that only for a lawyer?

What do I write for country of residence if he is currently in Canada on a temporary visa. I know his country of residence is Thailand but I want to make sure we get all of his stuff at my canadian address.

Do we write the day we were legally married or the day we had our ceremony because our ceremony was 3 months before we were legally married

Technically he finished grade 12 but he he only took 4 years of secondary school because he went back as an adult. Do we write 4 or 6 years for secondary education?

I actually called the CIC today and asked the same thing and they said that me (Swedish) writing "Canada" as my country of residence was the way to go.

I would say use the day you were legally married. You could always add paper with more information if you wish.

I would put down four years, but you could probably add another piece of paper explaining the issue further if you want to.

Again, I asked the CIC the exact same thing and they said that since I'm in Canada legally I can use the Canadian address.

Since you can use the Canadian address I'd put down the Canadian number.

I'm sure you can give them whichever e-mail address you please.
The second page is only for people accompanying the person you're sponsoring, so if you're his wife/common-law parter you should not write your info there.

As far as I know no. When you send them a copy of your Canadian birth certificate they'll see that you were born here.

I'm a foreign national in Canada on a visitor's visa applying outland.

...but you can always call the CIC and double check if you please. They can sometimes give you mixed messages, but they're very helpful nonetheless... :)

Hi,

swede's advice is accurate.  And definitely the day you were LEGALLY married.  One email address over another is not going to speed anything up or slow it down.  Just make sure that whatever e-address you give them is active.  If you want, you can write the day you were born as the day you became a Canadian citizen.  As far as physical addresses are concerned, use the address where he can be REACHED.  If he's going back to Thailand, then use his Thai address for residence and phone number.  But if you're planning to extend his TRV, use the Canadian ones.
