dear mandie/or my forum friends,

when my application recieved by CIO,i did not submitt the pcc for my wife from saudi arabia.because i did nt get the same at that moment.

but after receiving the file number from CIO in may 2011,i have sent pcc of my wife from saudi to new delhi VO .this has happened after nearly 2 months of getting file number.

now my status showing as in process from nov 15th 2011.but till now no medicals.but lot of my friends in the same time span recieved medicals.

i have a doubt that ..because i did'nt submit pcc(complete application package) along with application,is there any chance of getting delay to recieve medicals?

i heard that if any documents is missing or not submitted completely at right time ...there is a chance of getting delay for 4-6 months....is it right or not??

pls share your experiences........am eagerly waiting to hear from you all

I think you should post them the pcc. It might boost your application process.

well i have read some where that PCC from saudia is excluded because its very hard to get from there as due to the so many problems from them as they dont undestand what u are saying well its not confirmed but i have read it some where on one post from one member who lived in KSA before.

second thing is that its not necessary to sent PCC initially with file (CIO recommends but not necessary) but when u get the file number just send them dont worry it will not effect your application.

some times there are delays due to any reason so chill out all be fine .

Pcc only valid for 6 month, as u r outside of ur home country I guess may be that's why they just wanna be sure still ur history is clean. It's normal. Good luck.

Remember though the cap last year was 1000 as opposed to 500 this year.  If I remember correctly when I applied in June 2011 there was over 600 applications received.
