Social Workers 4152, Applied already/going to apply!

Thanks aifarooqi so much for this. My law firm submitted my application to CIO yesterday. Today I have checked CIC websites and found out that CAP is 452 already. It increases rapidly from 395 on 19 Jan'12 to 452 on 30 Jan'12. I afraid that I will not be in CAP .

Your relative has to proove that he was unable to recruit a Canadian or landed immigrant for the job. Either he gets Labour market opionion ofr work permit or Arranged Employment Opinion for FSW2 application....by the way what is your profession.

I was wondering what the timeline is between the credit card being charged and the receipt of PER/NER? I know that it varies but it would be great to get some feedback on the average timeline.

One of my friend is social worker but his designation is Research Officer. However, what he should he write in Generic form (IMM008ENU_2D) in Occupation/Education section as current occupation is "social worker" or "Research Officer". Pls reply.

I have applied on 14th January 2012.... Now tensed seeing the cap update... When i applied it was 392.... No news about my DD encashment as well..... I tried chckng wit the bank the nonsense guy told me he wil nopt b able to tel me any infor on the DD, since he has not recd it & they wil receive it only aftr 2 years.... wat the hell.....Seriously getting pissed off.....

dont worry you will be in cap and its just two weeks even not completed 14 working days how u expect response so soon or encashed you DD its will take 2 to 3 months to receive you PER or NER ... and bank is able to tell you that DD is encashed or not you must have you DD number ...so relax and wait dear all be fine ..

he or she should write the same which is written on the job reference certificate from the organization ... as it is discussed many time that title or designation does not count much ...but experience should be according to ministerial instruction of 4152 that matter the most so what is written in reference letter write that and make sure you have same duties which is described in ministerial instruction in HRSDC ...

as one of our applicant on this forum discussed that his card was charged on 16 of JAN and he got the mail of PER on 19 JAN .... this is the shortest time which one of member shared here ....

Looks like i am floating in the same boat as you...my exam is also on 9th feb and i am scared too that social woker cap will be full by the time results are published..i am an english Lit grad too
Also can someone tell me if its a mandate to give your salary slips for all the jobs that you have worked for?
