Hello Everybody,
I need some advised I applied in june 2011. I got my 2nd AOR from London last year September,  they requested a new employment update, original reference and original education credentials for me and my wife which I sent to them within the 60 days stipulated time. My wife needs her original certificate for other pressing matter. Can you advise how to go about this. I will appreciate advise from all the seniors.

I believe the only thing to do is to contact VO about your request. You can email, fax them or write a letter. The most effective is the first two. Good luck

Dear All,

I would like to submit my application this week but my Law company advise that I should use the old forms because "The forms you completed are the new forms issued by CIC, however they do not have to be used until March 2012".

Could you please advise me which forms (the old or the new ones) that I should fill in?

Thanks so much for your advice.

hello there is nothing like that they will not accept the new forms but after march 2012 they will accept only new forms please read the following from CIC website .... don't only rely on the immigration agents or law companies just do your own research also .. ... that would make your mind more clear ..

New:

The Federal Skilled Worker program has a new eligibility stream that is open to international students who are pursuing or who have completed doctoral (PhD) studies at Canadian institutions. Please read the instructions for more information.

Important:

New forms and an updated Instruction Guide and Document Checklist (IMM 5612) are now available. Applicants should follow the new Instruction Guide when preparing to submit an application

Federal skilled worker applications received by the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) after November 14, 2011 must be prepared using the updated instruction guide and Document Checklist (IMM 5612) or they will be returned as incomplete.

The CIO will continue to accept the Application for Permanent Residence in Canada (IMM0008) until March 31, 2012. After that date, only the new version of the Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008) will be accepted and all previous versions will be returned to applicants.

Note: As of July 18, 2011, applicants for Permanent Residence are asked to complete the new Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008). Applicants are encouraged to complete the form electronically and validate the information to generate 2D barcodes before printing. To ensure you have the most recent application form, please use the link to the application form.

Thanks aifarooqi so much for this. My law firm submitted my application to CIO yesterday. Today I have checked CIC websites and found out that CAP is 452 already. It increases rapidly from 395 on 19 Jan'12 to 452 on 30 Jan'12. I afraid that I will not be in CAP Sad.

Your relative has to proove that he was unable to recruit a Canadian or landed immigrant for the job. Either he gets Labour market opionion ofr work permit or Arranged Employment Opinion for FSW2 application....by the way what is your profession.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who-employment.asp
Thoroughly search the CIC website for more information.

Dear All,
