I've been living in Canada for nearly a year, on a visitor extension, but we want to apply for PR through London as it's faster.  So what forms do we use?  'Currently outside Canada' or 'Already in Canada'?

Do we pay the fees to London with a bank draft?  Or can I pay through the CIC website for an outland application

Do I need another Visitor Extension if I apply outland?

What would we do without this forum???

You want to apply Outland - use the currently outside of Canada forms.

You can pay your fees through the CIC site. It will generate a printable receipt which you'll include in your application package.

If you want to remain in Canada longer than your allowable stay - yes, you'll need to apply for an extension.

The information on the website is a bit confusing on this one I admit. But you don't actually have to be outside of canada to go outland. Since you want to apply outland, you use the outland forms.
If you wish to remain in Canada, you need to apply for a new visitor extension at least 30 days before this one runs out.
