Hi everybody...

I have a pretty complicated situation. I'm Italian and my girlfriend is Canadian . I'd like to stay here and live with her from next April (right now I'm here in Canada with a tourist visa and this winter I'll travel for 5 months) .
We are thinking to start the procedure to obtain my Permanent Resident visa but according to what we have read so far seems a very long process (12 months to prove that we are really together and 8-12 months to receive the answer) .
My problem is that I have some web sites and I get money with advertise (it's not a huge amount of money but enough to live here in Canada) ... How can I be legal and pay taxes here in Canada considering that I cannot open a small business here in Canada?
Can I work here during the 12+8 months ?

Hope to have some answers soon !
Thank you very much ! Smiley
