Do you have any idea why the family sponsorship process by CPC-Mississauga is getting very slow in July???

Maybe summer vacations. On the other hand it would slow down during winter too for the same reason plus the holidays. So when are our visa offices and CIC in Missassaugua gonna be left with relatively uniterrupted time to process our applications then - fall and spring?

Personally I think they have a back log and aren't as efficient as they'd like to make out.  If they were realistic and put 2 months for processing times on their website instead of 40-odd days, people would be more patient.  Making out they can get applications done faster than they actually can is misleading and the cause of people becoming inpatient.

also some vo's r slower in the summer and it looks cuz of summer vacations...it looks that the officers taking time off r not replaced with anybody hence less work force
but maybe there r less officers overall since the gouv wants to cut costs :/

Don't forget the Summer is when Canadian Based Officers (CBOs) move to different posts, so most offices are short staffed.

Also probably in the summer all the senior officers go on vacations (though personally I'd do it the other way around: take vacations in winter to flee the cold, but i'm digressing...)  Cheesy and they staff all their offices with interns! Go figure!

Anyways, patience, patience, patience, folks. and good luck to all.

Happy summer Wink
