Skype chat history as proof

So I just found almost 6 months of chat history with my wife, the trouble is it is almost 400 pages in size 8 font. Any suggestions of how much of this stuff I should include. I want there to be enough without overdoing it.

 With my application I sent about 7 pages of screenshots of us talking, approx 20-25 pages of history...and they were satisfied with this....but you can judge how much you want to include. 400 pages is a bit much but even up to 70 pages i think would be ok but I wouldn't overdo it.

All the history is stored locally on your computer and Skype does not remotely save any logs. I just went up to the top of the chat log, and I had the option to display, 7 days, 1 month, 3 months, and 6 months.

 I also copy and pasted my convos onto an excel spreadsheet so if you are using different computers then copy and paste the history...then i put it on an excel sheet. It just makes it easier and that way you can continue using different computers

400 pages is too much. I would include a representative sample: maybe one a week, or one from the beginning, the middle, and the end of the 6-month period. Then attach a note saying you have 400 pages of this Skype chat history, and if they want to see it you can provide it. (They most likely won't ask for it.)

However, if you have very little other relationship proof, then send more of the Skype history.

umm i have a question about this...what if our discussions in skype are in urdu? using english letters...I mean like transliteration. Will they still accept that? or do the discussions have to be in English/French?

I had a years worth of skype chat history, it was 2700 pages, I took it into Word, and put it into columns and shrunk the font down to like 8pt, and then took out all the crap and just left a few lines from each day. I got it down to I think around 100 pages double sided, way more than anyone would ever want to read, but I wanted to drive the point home that we talked EVERYDAY and we didn't have much else in the way of communication to show, we never thought to keep video chat proof, and his cellphone changed a million times so phone records were hard to come by. I doubt they sit there and read the entire thing anyways, how boring for them if they do. "I love you honey" "Oh I love you too" "What are you doing?" "Nothing, you?"

We had huge amounts of MSN conversations. We took a sample of important conversations that showed milestones in the relationship. For example when we booked flights to see each other etc. Conversations that were backed up with other proof in the application (flight stubs,flight receipts etc) Added to that we took screenshots of the massive list of conversations to show there was so much more. Honestly I'd be annoyed if I got a 400 page thing, it's not as if they will read that.

They have to be in English or French. So you would have to get it translated, which would not be worth the money. I don't know what it would look like in Urdu - is it obvious, maybe from just the list of calls made, that it was the two of you communicating and giving the time and date? If so you could include this list, and then maybe get 3 discussions translated - one from the beginning of your relationship, one from the middle, and one recent one. For this kind of document, you don't need a certified translator; a friend will do. Then state that you have many more pages of this proof in Urdu, and can submit it if the visa officer wants to see it.

You have to prove that your relationship with your wife is a genuine marriage. One way to show that is to provide proof of all the ways you communicate while apart: email, letters and cards, phone, instant messaging, Skype, etc.
You don't need to include it, if you have a lot of other evidence that your relationship is genuine.
You should send this evidence with the application, but if you didn't submit enough evidence, you can always send more to the visa office that is processing your application.
