Hi Guys,

I am from the UK. I own and run a small commercial cleaning firm here in the UK. I have been doing this for over 8 years now. I have 6 full time staff and sometime depending on the job we may have temporary staff as well. I do everything from managing the staff, quotations, tax returns, including the cleaning.

For got to add We also offer painting and decorating of both commercial and residential. thats on a different site.

I also have BICsc certificates (short course) 1 & 2 related to the cleaning industry and  Prochem carpet cleaning certificate and many years ago I obtained a Btec Diploma in Graphic Design - back in 93.

My wife works credit control and has A level in Law and has Certificate in Institute of Credit Management and has done that line of work for over 9 years working for a firm.

I was wondering if any of this was good enough for a skilled worker visa. Or is there a way I could find a company that performs commercial cleaning to sponsor me to move to Canada.

If not, what do I have to train in to make this possible as no family there in Canada.

Ideal place would be Vancouva as that's a good town and not far from the rockys.

Help and advice greatly appreciated.

kind regards

Dave

To apply as skilled workers, either you or your wife must qualify under one of the occupations listed below:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/English/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp

If you do not qualify under one of these occupations, then you need a job offer in Canada to apply.

Hope this helps.
