Hi...

Can someone shed a light on... what will happen, if I apply for migration as Federal Skilled Worker but before the process is completed, I get a semi-skilled work permit [as a food counter attendant] and enter Canada?

Regards,

Towfiq.

Once you are "landed" you can work as a PR at any job you wish.

AS a Semi Skilled worker unless your occupation can qualify for PNP,Such as Fast Food Attendant in Alberta or BC,You have to go back after your visa expires.

Thank you for your replies PMM and BCGuy.

I think I wasn't been able to express my question correctly.

I was trying to say that, if I apply for PR in Federal Skilled Worker Program now (which might take 6 to 12 months or more to complete) and after 4 months on the process of PR, if I get a job offer and a work permit from an employer or a recruiting agency in Alberta and enter Canada, will my previous PR Application be canceled?? Or will it still be on processing??

Thanks again for your replies.

Regards,

Towfiq
