Dear colleagues and members,

I live in Gaza Strip (Palestine) and have applied to Canada under skilled workers category in June 2007. After Israeli disengagement, the immigration applications are no longer sent to Canadian Embassy to Tel Aviv but in Cairo, hence the processing time completely differs (where Embassy in Cairo has to study applications from Egypt, Gaza and Sudan). In that period the application was only a (simplified application) with no supported documents, but I sent the processing fees as required.

Since my application reached to the embassy in Cairo (immigration office), I have been given a file number so that I can check the processing online. It is only ONE time I managed to do it. During this 4 years of waiting, several factors have been changed in my life, my educational level (better), and family members increased of course!

I sent many emails and no replies, tried to call but no response! My question is: I want just to know where I am standing!

Shall I find a n answer, solution and/ or advice here, please?

Dear abuMalek,

I think they are processing 2005  Cairo applications! Its normal !
You need to follow ur application with Egyption people. There are Arabic forum called (المطاريد)
You could pass ur question there!

In my opinion its better to put a lawyer ( David Cohein)! He would help u in this long process.

Am a June 2007 applicant and still waiting for medical request,CHC London!

Best Regards,
Sama
