Hello,

I am from Bangladesh, 31 years old, currently working in a large, computerized furniture manufacturing company for 3+ years. My job duties are equivalent to the HRDC - 7215, that is on the 29 demand list of Canadian skilled migration.

I hold a BSC in computer science which lead to 16 years total full time studies.

My IELTS Score is:

Listening:   6.0
Reading:   6.5
Writing:   6.0
Speaking:   6.5

My spouse is also a bachelor's degree holder in business administration with 16 years of full time studies.

I have my sister and brother-in-law, canadian permanent residents living in ontario.

I hope with these factors I can gain 67 points for canadian migration.

But only thing I lac is that I donot have a trade certificate for carpentry works. The HRDC website says "Journeyman/woman trade certification as a carpenter or cabinetmaker is usually required." But my question is is it mandatory to have a trade certificate even if I have a one year apprenticeship experience with the same company during my last semesters of the University degree?

Please reply with your valuable suggestions.

Best regards

Nl
