Please advise:
Can I land myself as a skilled worker first in Ontario and leave after get the PR card, while my family land after I leave Canada?

Yes you can but you have to be in Canada at least 730 days in any 5 year period to keep your PR status, even though your PR card does not expire for 5 years.

I should re-state my question.
Can my family land without me stay in the Canada and get the PR? They have all the visa and landing paper as my dependents.

Yes, they can land, get their PR and stay and get citizenship.  Only thing is you as the primary applicant must land before them or at the same time.  After you all land, their PR is as valid as yours, no primary applicant anymore.

Leon, that means the dependents cannot land before the primary applicant? I was planning on that also, looks like I have to change the plans a little bit.

that is correct, you must arrive before or at the same time as your family, since you are the main applicant.

What happens if my daughter as an international student in her final semester and is a dependent in my application? Will she have to exit and re-enter after I make the landing? or along with me? what exactly is the process? She will graduate in April 09 my applicaation is in the final stages and medical not yet done.
