Hi,

We are here now almost a year on our sk nominee program permit. The permit is valid for 2 years so we are going to apply for our PR now. I have most of the paperwork together but now I find out that getting the criminal background check with fingerprints from the States (where we are from) will take at least 4 months. Can I send in all the rest of the paperwork and add on to it later? Or do I have to send everything at ones. This will be a problem because some other paperwork has dates on them as well and will be too old by the time the background check will come back from the FBI. Anybody knows anything about this or has experience with it please let us know, it is greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Yes you can send those after but you must be ready to hand it over upon request. Mine took only a month to get considering that I live in Brazil at this moment.

Good luck!
