Hi All:

My sister who lived in SK for 3+ years sponsored my brother under SINP. Her husband is in rcmp and they moved to BC. My brother got the immigration and has also gotten the visa stamped and coming to canada in few days. Meanwhile, my sister received a letter that CIC wants to visit her and meet her and discuss everything and they are not letting her know anything else. Now I dont understand that if you apply for SINP, you can not move? I mean moreover that is a government job because of which she had to move there was no other choice.

So now what can we expect to happen and what is the problem here? Thank you in advance for answering my query.

Regards.

Once you are nominated under a province the intention is to stay in that province until you get citizenship.

hey there !

they just wanna make sure that your sister still lives there from where she has sponsered your brother and they wanna know that everything is in order as it has been explained in the SINP forms . so it should not be a big problem if she is still there ? is she ?

Hasse.
