hello! finally i found this thread! it's nice to see a lot of Filipinos here. I filed our application under Family Members Category through SINP online application portal on July 10, 2011. Application received July 22 and now it shows "IN PROCESS" as the status. It's running 10 months now. I've read some applicants here received their nomination after 11 months. Sana kami rin.  |

sorry to confused you dont_give_up..what I meant was after getting the file number that was dated june 1, 2011. no nomination yet. and i can't see any update from ecas on my application. |

i applied in the SINP online portal https://www.apps.gov.sk.ca/apex/f?p=305:1 and it shows there that my application is "IN PROCESS"  |

They just said, "your application is still in process. no additional documents needed at this time." maybe you can do the same. Calling overseas is very costly. |

yes you can do that.. in my case, i send a follow up email to immigration Saskatchewan and also to update some of the information in our application. Hello roayns! Sorry for the late response. Maybe it's okay to do some follow ups. My father, who's sponsoring me, asked SINP about the May 2012 changes. They said, it's only applicable to application filed May 2012 onwards so cheer up, we're not affected by the changes. |

I have got PR visa n will land to canada on 21st of june.
Im planning to settle in Saskatchewan so that I can sponsor my sister later on.
But Now I came to know tht rules have changed n its not possible to call her.
Is it true? wht are d new rules n how can I call her now?
Can her husband apply under AEO & how?
